Question: My hair is soooo stiff. I mean it hardly moves. Not in the wind or any other place. The most movement it gets is in the shower when I am washing it or about to dry it. How can I get it to move?
Answer: It's funny you should say that your hair gets the most movement when your washing or out the shower about to dry it. Those are the times when your hair has the less product. The more product you have on your hair or scalp the more it gets difficult for your hair to move or have movement, especially if you have thin hair. Using a lot of product on your hair is cancels out what each product is suppose to do as well as weighs down the hair. We suggest just using a light leave in conditioner ...
Question: Is hair gel bad for my hair? I'm debating on whether I should use hair gel or not.
Answer: Gel for the hair is bad if it contains alcohol in it and since most gels contain alcohol in it, then the answer would be yes. Since gel is used to make the hair stiff and keep hair in motion, you would need to wash your hair the same day or next day to make sure the gel is removed. Gel will dry out your hair and eventually cause breakage. Do not comb through your hair once you have applied gel to your hair for this will immediately cause breakage and if this is done on a regular basis, you will notice hair loss and hair thinning, so be careful when using gel.
