Good or Bad: Grease For Your Hair
Question: My mother used grease on my hair since I can remember. I wanted to know is grease really good for the hair or hair growth.
Answer: Hair grease is not good for your scalp or hair. Regardless of how you view it, or how your hair use to be, your hair was not growing healthy because of grease. Grease acts as a barrier for moisture especially on the scalp. This prevents the hair and scalp from producing its naturals oils. Grease clogs up your scalps pores and if applied to the hair, makes your hair stiff. Grease also encourages dandruff.
