Consider these simple techniques in infusing herbal ingredients into your daily or weekly hair care routine.
- Use a mild shampoo with little to no alcohol to not strip the hair of its natural oils. Add a light oil such as extra virgin olive oil to your shampoos. Only shampoo your scalp and roots. The ends will get cleaned while rinsing.
- After every shampoo, always use a conditioner and/or hot oil treatment. Consider adding peppermint oil that leaves a fresh tingling feeling on the scalp as well as stimulates the scalp. You can also add rosemary, which has been used for years to promote hair growth.
