How to Flat Iron Curly Hair to Straight Hair
Question: I have extra big curly hair and I want it as straight as possible. I want to know what is the best way to flat iron my hair.
Answer: Having curly hair is a great thing and being able to straighten it gives you the best of both worlds. To straighten curly hair with a flat iron, the first thing you want to do is add a extremely light amount of straightening balm to your hair. Then take your hair and divide it in 4 sections (or more if needed) and use a paddle brush and blow dryer to blowdry the hair. Once your hair is completely dry, use your flat iron and two inch sections of your hair and simply glide the flat iron down from your hair roots to your hair ends. Be careful not to leave the flat iron on your hair ends so you do not overexpose the oldest part of your hair to heat. Continue with this process until you are completely done. To finish, add a small amount of gloss between your hands and palms and apply to the hair. Style your straight hair as desired.
